Disney Junior / Interactive Roadshow

Experiential Design / Implementation

Disney goes on the road

Product Trailer

Description

The Disney Junior Interactive Experience consisted of four engaging and immersive Interactive Experiences, based on the most popular Disney Junior shows – The Lion Guard, Doc McStuffins, Sofia the First and Miles from Tomorrow.

Children controlled the experience using full body movement via the Kinect to control on-screen avatars and navigate the on-screen worlds. A live webcam-feed complimented the experience by providing photo-op souvenirs at the end of the ride.

The experience exhibited at multiple UK cities, a high profile marketing event at Westfield London and localised into events in Denmark and France.

As the sole technical developer, I was responsible for game design, system implementation and collaborated with artists to craft the game into the final immersive experience.
